Kalisha is a therapist whose practice is grounded in narrative therapy and influenced by mindfulness, and somatic approaches. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy, holding training and certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a treatment designed to help alleviate anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Eastern and Western modalities, enabling her to tailor therapy to each client’s challenges and center her practice on acceptance and self-discovery.
Kalisha’s practice is proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming, and she holds experience in providing gender-affirming care. She is attuned to the importance of addressing the concerns of diverse populations, particularly those encountered by marginalized individuals navigating unique challenges.
