Meet Jared McCarthy

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Jared is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#122229) who is passionate about supporting young adults, teens, men, and couples in navigating life transitions. He specializes in helping individuals develop a greater sense of identity and stability in their lives while leveraging the support of their relationships. This allows individuals and couples to cultivate effective communication, recognize patterns to resolve conflicts and build a foundation of trust that will propel them in their lives.

Jared’s work primarily involves individuals and couples who have experienced trauma. His clients are thoughtful, creative, insightful, dedicated, and open to sessions that can be simultaneously humorous and honest. They are committed to challenging themselves to be healthier and work hard each week for personal growth.

The foundation of Jared’s therapeutic approach is based on client-centered techniques, a trauma-informed perspective, and self-compassion. Jared views therapy as a creative and dynamic process that permits imperfections along the way. His sessions serve as a space that honors your experiences, fosters meaningful connections, and embraces authenticity.
